GREAT STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS


Josh Carlsen's Guitar Student Abby G. performed Bach’s Two Minuets in the instrumental competition at the Lutheran Elementary School Tournament on February 18th. It is a regional tournament of Lutheran middle schools from Idaho, Washington, Nevada and California held at Concordia University in NE Portland. She received a blue ribbon for her performance. The judge wrote: ”Good presentation; you play musically and show attention to good fingering position”.

Looking for Makeup Lessons?


The Beaverton School District has the following dates set as "No School Days" and our teachers can generally come in early on these days for makeup lessons. Please inquire with Rei about the teachers working these days.

Friday March 11th
Friday April 8th
Friday May 27th
Friday June 17th


(June 17th is the last day for makeup lessons in Spring Semester - Any lessons cancelled after this date are not guaranteed to recieve a makeup lesson. Makeup lessons cannot carry over into our Summer or Fall Sessions)

SUMMER CAMPS & LESSONS 2011


Summer Sign-Ups Begin May 23rd, 2011

ADD MUSIC EDUCATION TO YOUR SUMMER GOALS!


Private lessons are scheduled "à la carte". This means you can schedule any day, any time – each week can be different if you need it to be. They are half hour lessons with the Instructor of your choice. Note that we are only open 3 days a week during the summer.


SUMMER HOURS:
Tuesdays - 1:00pm to 7:00pm
Wednesdays - 10:00am to 6:00pm
Thursdays - 10:00am - 5:00pm


SUMMER LESSON PACKAGES:

Basic Summer Package: Purchase 1 - 4 Lessons - $27.00 ea. (30 mins)
Super Summer Package: Purchase 5+ Lessons - $25.50 ea. (30 mins)

HONORS RECITAL AUDITIONS COMING UP!!!

Now is a good time to start thinking about the Honors Recital Audtions in May. Start talking to your teacher about the song or songs you would like to work on for the auditions.

Auditions are held on Saturday May 21st at 2:00pm, here at Forte Music School. You must sign up for a space to audition ahead of time. See Rei at the Front Desk to do so.
